Wakelet online training program – Tool for storing teaching materials on the free web platform
The Institute for Contemporary Education would like to invite you to the Wakelet training program that will take place on Friday, June 5, starting at 5 PM, and show you how you can store various teaching materials collected in online instruction on the free web platform.
The training is free of charge, and you can follow it by logging into your account created on the distance learning platform of the Institute for Contemporary Education. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create it HERE. The training program will become active at the specified time.
By completing this training program, you will be awarded 3 credits for professional development within an institution issued by the Institute for Contemporary Education free of charge.
What will you learn in this training program?
Through a practical demonstration of the Wakelet tool, the lecturer will present the possibilities of this relatively new and free platform, such as storing videos, articles, images, tweets, links, etc. The training will show you how to add your own text at any time, modify an existing one, or introduce changes in line with the preferences and interests of your students, or add achievement data, because it offers great benefits for creating both student and teacher e-portfolios. In addition, this tool is designed as a web platform which is easy to manipulate and organize, or to create one’s own collections for storing various content sorted by topic.
In the Wakelet training program, you will have the opportunity to learn how to create a profile, add teaching materials, or differentiate collections of valuable teaching resources.
