The lecture and workshop on affective attachment were successfully completed
Organized by the Institute for Contemporary Education, a lecture and workshop on the topic “Psychology of emotional development: how childhood shapes the emotions and behavior of children and teachers” was held on June 8 and 11.
The lecturer was Nikola Goljović, who finished his Bachelor’s and Master’s studies at the Department of Work psychology and has many years of experience in the field of Human Resources.
In the lecture, those present were introduced to the concept of affective attachment. The development of the individual from the first days of life was presented, and the most attention was devoted to the school age and how affective attachment affects the student and the teacher, as well as their relationship.
The lecture was important for understanding the behavior of children as well as adults, and it was a good introduction to the workshop that was held three days later.
At the beginning of the workshop, the participants did a test and the results showed them which type of affective pattern they belong to. This part was very interesting for them because they learned some new information about themselves. They were very interested in hearing how they could improve their development and what mistakes should they avoid making in interpersonal relationships.
The participants received instruments that they can use in working with their students and that will help them build a good relationship with themselves and other people in the educational system.
All colleagues who attended the lecture and the workshop received a certificate of professional development within the institution.
