Free lecture: 48 Questions For
Developing Critical Thinking Skills
On November 28, a free lecture entitled 48 Questions For Developing Critical Thinking Skills will take place at ICE’s Center for Professional Development (5 Masarikova Street, 3rd floor of Belgrade Palace, entrance from Kralja Milana Street), from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

What will you learn?
The lecturer will present the methods that allow you to quickly and easily inspire critical thinking among students. Critical thinking refers to the ability of each student and individual to develop life skills enabling them to value and perceive their environment. It is particularly important when teaching students new concepts, promoting debates and shaping the students’ outlook in accordance with scientific facts. Also, critical thinking helps teachers develop peer relationships.
The lecture will present the criteria for developing critical thinking skills, comprising six categories: who, what, where, when, why and how. It will explain the sections, each of which requires you to use specific words and have a question structure that is diverse and applicable to a wide range of topics.
You will acquire skills that will enable you to:
- build strong critical thinking habits;
- develop good lifelong learning methods;
- include students in constructive discussions and cooperation;
- change the students’ responsibility for learning;
- encourage inquisitiveness and creative thinking among students;
- create an interesting, creative and instructive journey in the classroom.
