CRP webinar “Publication of papers” was held

Full professor Slavko Pokorni held a webinar on February 12, 2022, titled “Publication of Papers”, organized by the Center for Research and Publication (CRP) of the Institute for Contemporary Education.

The goal of the webinar intended for employees of the LINK Educational Alliance (LEA) is to provide assistance to all teachers who need to publish works in order to meet the conditions for selection into teaching positions, strengthen their current positions, acquire representative references, which are necessary for a teacher when it comes to accreditation, but also to all those who want to get acquainted with the methodology of scientific research work (scientific, professional and artistic youth).

In order to fulfill the requirements for selection into teaching positions, the teacher must publish works. A similar request is made for PhD students. Publishing a paper is not easy. You should choose a suitable journal and/or conference, prepare a paper following the instructions for authors and respond to the comments of reviewers and editors.

“Accepting the work as it was sent, without comments and the need for corrections, is rare. Acceptance of the work with a request or suggestions for minor corrections is more common, which is a favorable outcome for the author. Situations where larger corrections are required are also common. In this case, it is important how the author will manage and understand the comments, requests and suggestions of the reviewer or reviewers” – Professor Pokorni concluded.
