A lecture entitled How Professional Development Helped Me Advance in My Profession took place on Wednesday, November 13, at ICE’s Center for Professional Development. The lecture was given by Slađana Pavlović, teacher and educational counsellor.
The goal of the lecture was to encourage teachers and associates to focus on their professional development and career advancement. It provided colleagues with accurate information on how to correctly make professional development records. In addition, it highlighted the importance of collecting documents and evidence, as well as the significance of self-evaluation and the evaluation of the annual work plan implementation.
The lecturer talked about lifelong learning, stating that “learning is a conscious, useful and deliberate activity through people acquire skills and knowledge, form their opinions and create an image of themselves”.
The lecture encouraged many colleagues to obtain the right qualifications in order to implement their ideas and meet their ambitions and goals.
