ICE representatives, Smart4Future experts and Dr Sanja Popović Pantić held a meeting
On Monday, December 12, the Project Center of the Institute for Contemporary Education, coordinators and experts of the Smart4Future project, and Sanja Popović Pantić, a senior scientific associate of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin and president of the Association of Business Women in Serbia, held an online meeting.
At the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the Association of Business Women in Serbia with higher education institutions within the LINK edu Alliance, and the possibility of organizing activities on the Smart4Future project, where Sanja was chosen to be a member of the international Advisory Board. After the meeting participants exchanged their experiences in the fields of science, education and entrepreneurship, they agreed upon the directions of future cooperation. Potential fields of cooperation are guest lectures by members of the Association of Business Women, workshops that would be jointly organized and visits by students of the Information Technology School – ITS and the Faculty of Contemporary Arts to micro-enterprises whose entrepreneurs are members of the Association of Business Women in Serbia. Future cooperation will be directed towards the development of entrepreneurship, the empowerment of women, the fight against gender stereotypes, and the improvement of the curriculum of study programs in order to adapt the study programs to the real needs of the market
At the meeting, they also mentioned the possibility of cooperation between the Association of Business Women in Serbia and ITS and FCA within the framework of the WINnovators project. It is a Europen project called “Encouraging the entrepreneurial and STEM/STEAM capacity of young women in higher education institutions with sustainable development and innovation” which is financed by the Erasmus+ program, within which female students of ITS and FCA would get the opportunity to take part in the workshops and lectures planned to be held within the project. The main objective of the WINnovators project is the joint development and implementation of innovative approaches to teaching and learning, as well as concrete policies for capacity building in digital, entrepreneurial, STEM/STEAM innovation and sustainability fields, which would benefit young women from rural areas, as well as students.
