Impressions from the visit of the Kingdom Education’s
founder
On Friday, January 31, we hosted a lecture given by Mr. Ben Young, founder of Kingdom Education, who focused his professional efforts at providing support for young people so they could improve their talents and achieve their goals.
Attendees of the 90-minute lecture had the opportunity to hear a motivational speech about success, determination and the importance of developing self-awareness. The presentation was based on the research conducted by Richard St. John, analyst who traveled the world for ten years and published hundreds of interviews with successful people to discover what success is and how to achieve it.
Mr. Young presented the results of St. John’s analysis, identified and explained in detail eight common traits of successful people, including:
- passion for success;
- hard work and effort;
- continuous “practice” of one’s skills;
- focus on the goal;
- control of one’s shyness and insecurity;
- understanding the needs of today’s world;
- innovative ideas;
- determination.
As the founder of Kingdom Education, Young often holds public lectures and unselfishly shares precious wisdom of successful people in order to encourage all interested individuals and provide support on their way to success, whether it is about founding one’s own business, making a family, or changing one’s personal beliefs and views of the world. His Friday lecture at ICE was no exception.
After the lecture, he presented the program of the summer school for adolescents between the ages of 15 and 17 who wish to study abroad in the fields of business, medicine or law. We are honored that the Institute for Contemporary Education has been chosen as the place where the professional development program Kingdom Education for 2020 will be presented.
The lecture was attended by a great number of students from International School Savremena, Savremena Gimnazija and the Information Technology High School, in addition to ICE members.
