Training for youth workers was held in Prague as part of the “Behave your Prints” project
In an effort to provide dedicated teachers with professional training in today’s most relevant educational fields, the Institute for Contemporary Education applied three new professional meetings (consultations) for accreditation with the Institute for Improvement of Education.
We are very pleased to inform you that all three meetings have been accredited: “Become a VR Pro – application of virtual reality in education”, “Impact of robotics on education: experience and perspectives” and “Brainfinity in school – development of problem-based learning”. “Become a VR Pro – application of virtual reality in education”
The best practices and experiences in the application of existing models of VR and AR will be analyzed in the meeting, and the topics covered will be the following: “Introduction to virtual reality systems”, “Types of virtual reality”, “Application of virtual reality in education”, ” Training on how to use ClassVR glasses” and “Innovations in VR”.

“Impact of robotics on education: experience and perspectives”
The meeting is dedicated to the analysis of the best practices of the application of edu robots in educational institutions through the exchange of experiences and the presentation of conclusions about the possibilities of applying existing models, and the following topics will be covered: “Introduction to robotics in education”, “Possibilities of applying robots in teaching”, “Study cases: Primary School Savremena”, “Presenting mBot robots”, “Presenting LEGO educational robots”, “Presenting Raspberry Pi robots”, “Showing instructions and video tutorials for using educational robots in class” and “Presenting lesson plans”.

“Brainfinity in school – development of problem-based learning”
At this meeting, teachers will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the meaning of the term “Brainfinity”, to find out how this concept is related to problem-based learning and how everything can be applied in the classroom. In addition, they will also receive guidelines for developing teacher skills for the organization of problem-based learning through covering interesting topics such as: “The meaning of the term Brainfinity”, “How Brainfinity and problem-based learning are connected”, “The importance of problem-solving skills in life and on the labor market”, “Teacher’s role in problem-based learning”, “Organization of problem-based learning – what a Brainfinity lesson looks like”, “Technology of creating detective problems for the needs of problem-based learning” and “How Brainfinity can contribute to problem-based learning”.
The meetings are designed and intended for all teachers, expert associates, principals and assistant principals who want to improve their skills in these areas, and the dates and application method will be posted later on the website and social networks of the Institute for Contemporary Education.
We are convinced that the meetings we have created will significantly improve the knowledge and skills of teachers in the aforementioned areas, and therefore we are looking forward to this cooperation.
