Meeting of the “Smart4Future” consortium held in Istanbul
The second meeting of the “Smart4Future” consortium to support innovation in entrepreneurship at higher education institutions, funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), took place in Istanbul. The hosts were colleagues from the renowned Sabancı University in Turkey. The meeting’s topic was the next phase in the development of a project aimed at promoting and fostering entrepreneurship among students, professors, and non-teaching staff at higher education institutions. On this occasion, Link Educational Alliance presented the content of a four-day training for students in the fields of entrepreneurship and advanced IT technologies as part of the upcoming Link2Job fair in early December of this year. The presentation also included a working draft of a memorandum of understanding among stakeholders in the entrepreneurship process involving academia, researchers, and industry.
In addition to our organisation, the following partner organisations participated in the “Smart4Future” consortium: Algebra University (Croatia), University of Naples (Italy), Griffith College (Ireland), Sabancı University (Turkey), National University of Kyiv (Ukraine), Mentorec (Portugal), and Infobip (Croatia). Link Educational Alliance was represented by colleagues Aleksandra Borović (Project Coordinator at the ICE Project Center) and Dr Nevenka Popović Šević (FCA, ITS, LINKgroup).
