The Institute for Contemporary Education and Primary School Savremena would like to invite all education professionals to a new online IT training program that will introduce the Quiver digital tool with the help of which you can engage all your students in a hybrid environment, achieve the desired educational outcomes, and empower students for independent learning and work. The training program will be held on Saturday, October 17, starting at 11 AM via the unique Distance Learning Platform of the Institute for Contemporary Education.
Note: After broadcasting, the training program will be stored in the archive, on the accounts of the Institute members. All interested parties that are not members of the Institute may apply for the training program even after broadcasting.
Attending this training program, you will learn a simple, modern and creative way to design a lesson, and present complex teaching processes, phenomena, shapes and various drawings in 3D, and to fully engage your students throughout the lesson. The tool has proven itself applicable at all levels of education, which you will have the opportunity to learn on practical examples in the training program.
By completing this training program, you will be awarded 3 credits for professional development within an institution issued by the Institute for Contemporary Education free of charge.
3D teaching resources have been proven to strengthen student STEAM competencies, motivation, focus and knowledge
According to the results of various educational studies and the opinions of educational experts and researchers in the field of digital technologies, the application of 3D tools and teaching resources positively impacts:
- development of creative knowledge, which represents the highest level of teaching and is obtained by means of interdisciplinary association of all school subjects,
- development of visual competencies and 21st century skills,
- significant development of motivation and student engagement, because 3D resources focus student attention, improve their concentration and spark the desire to explore and learn more,
- development of student digital competencies, allowing them to learn about real applications of technology in everyday life and education on practical examples,
- practical learning which enables students to familiarize themselves with the field of study and develop their long-term memory,
- develop cooperative relationships and a healthy team spirit, which in turn shapes their social and emotional competencies,
- skills of practical problem solving through clearer observation of natural phenomena, shapes, colors and designs.
Enliven the classroom atmosphere and facilitate the teaching process: If you are a preschool, primary or secondary school teacher, learn how the Quiver tool works and how to apply it in practice
This training program will teach you how you can actively use the Quiver tool with your students, thus rendering even the most complex teaching material interesting, simple and accessible to students. Our lecturer, Danijela, who is also a teacher, will demonstrate all the possibilities of this tool, and how to successfully implement it into the program activities of preschool institutions, primary and secondary schools. You will also have the opportunity to see student experiences after using this tool, and discover the extent to which creative applications of educational technologies may impact student motivation and engagement, retention of the material covered, social and emotional competencies, STEAM skills, and creative abilities. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to master the tool your students are sure to fall in love with.
Who will be your lecturer?
Danijela Kleut graduated from the University of Belgrade Teacher Education Faculty where she also acquired her Master’s degree. She gained professional experience and honed her craft in several Belgrade schools. She has been studying Montessori pedagogy in detail for the last five years. She dedicated years of work in school to designing various learning materials so as to facilitate content adoption for children and make it more engaging.
She successfully applies her extensive knowledge of Montessori materials in curriculum implementation, as well as to improve children’s concentration and attention, qualities that aren’t only significant for one’s education, but for life as well. She works as a teacher at Primary School Savremena where she “has fallen in love” with different innovative technologies available at our school, and aimed at helping children to master the teaching content. Working with children gives her profound fulfillment and satisfaction, and she strives to approach each student individually, to learn about them as individuals, and provides them with a unique learning experience. Danijela continuously develops her digital and didactic-methodological competencies through various professional development programs which she regularly attends as a member of the Institute for Contemporary Education.
