The seminar “Development of Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship in Primary and Secondary schools” was held for the first time

On the premises of the Institute for Contemporary Education, on Saturday, November 26, 2022, the seminar “Development of Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship in Primary and Secondary schools” was held for the first time, and was led by Dr Ivan Anić, an associate of the Institute for Contemporary Education and professor at the Information Technology School – ITS in Belgrade.

The teachers who attended the seminar had the opportunity to learn from practical examples how to develop entrepreneurial spirit and financial literacy in children.

Ivan Anić presented to the participants of the seminar in an interesting way the importance of developing these skills in children from an early age.

During the seminar, the teachers had the task of developing a business idea and using that example to define what they learned at the seminar. They actively participated and asked the lecturer a lot of questions, and they all agreed that they would certainly apply this new knowledge in their classrooms and classes.

In the coming period, the Institute for Contemporary Education is planning other accredited activities that will help teachers in their professional development and training.
