Centar za stručno usavršavanje pri Institutu za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je tokom avgusta 2019. predavanje pod nazivom „Veštine jasne i uverljive prezentacije”.
U prostorijama Instituta za moderno obrazovanje u periodu od 19. do 21. avgusta održana je Letnja IT škola za nastavnike. Kroz 3 dana i 15 različitih IT radionica prisutnim nastavnicima predstavljen je veliki broj digitalnih alata koji mogu da promene pristup nastavnika.
Suština ovog dokumenta je podsticanje inovacija u nastavi koje obezbeđuju pristup naučnim znanjima i podižu nivo digitalnih kompetencija učenika, zatim njihovog medijskog, informatičkog i informacionog potencijala, a sve na osnovu razvoja digitalnih kompetencija nastavnika.
U subotu, 20. jula 2019, Savremena osnovna škola i Institut za moderno obrazovanje tim povodom pripremili su za decu od 6 do 11 godina interaktivne radionice pod nazivom „Budućnost počinje u učionici.”
Simpozijum pod nazivom „Leadership for Professional Learning“, održan 17. i 18. juna 2019. godine u Kembridžu, u Velikoj Britaniji, osmišljen je tako da obrazovnim liderima širom sveta omogući dijalog o liderstvu i izgradnji održivih okruženja za profesionalno usavršavanje. Učesnici su imali priliku da podele svoja inovativna rešenja, istraživanja i lekcije, i dobiju podršku i rešenja za izazove sa kojima se ova oblast susreće.
U sredu, 26. juna 2019, Centar za razvoj karijere Instituta za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je tribinu na temu „Mala i velika matura – ishodi i standardi”. Predavači su bili dr Bojan Ristić, član Saveta za Nacionalni okvir kvalifikacija Republike Srbije i direktor ITS-a; spec. Aleksandra Rosić, autor udžbenika Matematika 5 (Udžbenik za 5. razred osnovne škole i Zbirka zadataka za 5. razred osnovne škole) i predavač na ITS-u; dipl. Tatjana Mišović, rukovodilac Sektora za prirodno-matematičke nastavne predmete, ZUOV. Moderator tribine bila je prof. Aleksandra Prokopijević, direktor Srednje škole za informacione tehnologije.
U sredu, 19. juna 2019, Institut za moderno obrazovanje ugostio je učenike III godine Pete ekonomske škole u Rakovici i profesorku mr Danijelu Stojanović, člana IMO.
U sredu i petak, 12. i 14. juna 2019, održana je IT obuka „Prezi”, u organizaciji Instituta za moderno obrazovanje i Centra za obrazovnu tehnologiju. Predavač je bila MSc Branka Spajić, profesor računarstva i informatike u Savremenoj gimnaziji.
U ponedeljak, 10. juna 2019, Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje održao je predavanje na temu „Kako se (ne) predaje vokabular?”. Predavač je bio istaknuti doktor Vedran Dronjić, pedagoški ekspert iz domena psiholingvistike i nastave drugog jezika sa Univerziteta Severna Arizona.
U petak, 7. juna, i u subotu, 8. juna 2019, održana je IT obuka „EDpuzzle”, u organizaciji Instituta za moderno obrazovanje i Centra za obrazovnu tehnologiju. Predavač je bio MSc Saša Ivakić, profesor računarstva i informatike i koordinator Centra za obrazovnu tehnologiju.
U sredu, 29. maja 2019, Centar za razvoj karijere Instituta za moderno obrazovanje održao je za sve zaposlene u obrazovanju i roditelje predavanje pod nazivom „Digitalni uređaji i elektromagnetno zračenje”. Predavači su bili učenici Savremene gimnazije sa profesorkom fizike MSc Zoranom Nedeljković, učenici Srednje škole za informacione tehnologije sa profesorkom fizike MSc Mirjanom Rakičević i učenici International School Savremene sa profesorkom fizike MSc Anom Vlašić. Koordinator čitavog projekta bila je MSc Branislava Blajvaz, profesorka fizike.
Sa velikim žaljenjem vas obaveštavamo da je naša draga koleginica doc. dr Marina Petrović, izvršni direktor Instituta za moderno obrazovanje, preminula 19. maja, čime smo izgubili člana tima koji je bio vredna karika sistema.
Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje u četvrtak, 23. maja 2019, organizovao je za sve zaposlene u obrazovanju predavanje pod nazivom „3D mape uma”. Predavač je bio MA Dejan Bošković, magistar hemije, nastavnik biologije i samostalni pedagoški savetnik.
U petak, 17. maja 2019, Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje održao je za sve zaposlene u obrazovanju predavanje pod nazivom „Zakonski propisi u obrazovanju”. Predavač je bila master pedagog, MA Dragana Radenović, Srednja škola za informacione tehnologije.
U subotu, 11. maja 2019, u okviru aktivnosti Centra za stručno usavršavanje pri Institutu za moderno obrazovanje, organizovan je akreditovani seminar pod nazivom „Projektno orijentisana nastava” za nastavnike Srednje škole za informacione tehnologije. Realizatori programa stručnog usavršavanja bili su prof. dr Ivan Anić i prof. Aleksandra Prokopijević.
U sredu, 15. maja 2019, Centar za obrazovnu tehnologiju Instituta za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je za članove IMO obuku za rad sa obrazovnim IT aplikacijama namenjenim svim zaposlenim u oblasti obrazovanja na temu „Prezi”.
U petak i subotu, 10. i 11. maja 2019, održana je 17. godišnja akreditovana ELTA konferencija. Među sponzorima konferencije bili su Institut za moderno obrazovanje (IMO) i LINK Examinations Institute (LEI).
U petak, 10. maja 2019, Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je za sve zaposlene u obrazovanju predavanje pod nazivom „Obrazovanje za održivi razvoj”. Predavač je bila profesorka sociologije i ustava i prava građana u Savremenoj gimnaziji, MA Jelena Spasojević.
Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje u sredu, 24. aprila 2019, održao je osmo predavanje iz ciklusa „Kako da zavolim ponedeljak”, na temu „Na putu ka integrativnoj nastavi”. Predavanje je bilo namenjeno svim zaposlenima u obrazovanju koji žele da saznaju kako znanja važna za život integrisati u nastavni plan i program. Predavač je bila Radmila Žeželj, profesor razredne nastave OŠ „Josif Pančić” i pedagoški savetnik.
Centar za razvoj karijere Instituta za moderno obrazovanje u sredu, 17. aprila 2019, organizovao je tribinu na temu „Uticaj digitalnih medija na mlade”. Tribina je namenjena svim zaposlenima u obrazovanju, mladima, ali i roditeljima koji se susreću sa izazovima uticaja savremenih medija na dečje ponašanje i razvoj. Predavači su bili dr Milanka Maljković, dr Milan Miljković i Vladimir Lelićanin.
U petak, 12. aprila 2019, Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je za sve zaposlene u obrazovanju predavanje pod nazivom „Kako da domaći zadaci služe svrsi?”. Predavač je bio psiholog i školski savetnik u International School Savremenoj, Nikola Samac.
Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje, u saradnji sa Vikimedijom Srbije, organizovao je akreditovani seminar pod nazivom „Primena onlajn viki alata u nastavi i učenju”, koji se održao 13. aprila 2019. godine. Seminar je bio besplatno organizovan za članove Instituta za moderno obrazovanje i kolege iz prosvete koji su učestvovali u konkursu Instituta pod nazivom „Napišite komentar kako biste primenili Vikipediju u nastavi”.
U sredu, 10. aprila 2019, Institut za moderno obrazovanje ugostio je studentkinje IV godine andragogije sa Filozofskog fakulteta u Beogradu i doc. dr Bojana Ljujića, profesora na smeru Andragogija.
Cilj posete je bio da se studentima na predmetu Andragogija slobodnog vremena istaknu obrazovni aspekti rada Instituta za moderno obrazovanje u domenu slobodnog vremena odraslih.
Savremena osnovna škola i gimnazija, u saradnji sa Institutom za moderno obrazovanje i timom saradnica „Roditeljstvo NOVOG DOBA”, održali su 6. i 7. aprila 2019. festival „Roditeljstvo NOVOG DOBA”. Prvi dan festivala bio je namenjen trudnicama, dok je drugi dan bio namenjen roditeljima predškolske dece.
U subotu, 30. marta 2019, Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje u saradnji sa Osnovnom školom Savremena organizovao je akreditovani seminar pod nazivom „Prevencija prekomerne upotrebe i zavisnosti od savremenih tehnologija”. Predavači su bili Aleksandar Kuzmanović, diplomirani psiholog i predsednik udruženja Mreža profesionalaca Srbije SPONE, i Vladimir Lelićanin, softverski developer.
Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje održao je u četvrtak, 28. marta 2019, sedmo predavanje iz ciklusa „Kako da zavolim ponedeljak?”, pod nazivom „Šta se desi sa genijem kad pođe u prvi razred?”. Predavač je bio diplomirani učitelj – master Momčilo Stepanović, učitelj u OŠ „Banović Strahinja” Beograd, pedagoški savetnik, član Mense Srbije, autor brojnih akreditovanih programa stručnog usavršavanja u obrazovanju, udžbenika i knjiga i tvorac didaktičkih sredstava i edukativnih igara.
U ponedeljak, 25. marta 2019, Centar za obrazovnu tehnologiju Instituta za moderno obrazovanje održao je članovima IMO besplatnu edukativnu obuku na temu: „Izrada kviza u aplikaciji Quizizz”. Predavač je bio MSc Saša Ivakić, profesor računarstva i informatike u Savremenoj gimnaziji i koordinator Centra za obrazovnu tehnologiju.
Svi prisutni su istakli da su veoma zadovoljni zbog učešća u obuci, ponude koju im pruža članstvo u Institutu, ali i profesionalnosti u organizaciji aktivnosti za članove IMO.
U četvrtak, 21. marta 2019, Centar za razvoj karijere Instituta za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je tribinu pod nazivom „Sve je do ljudi” – prikaz rezultata projekta međuškolske saradnje. Predavači su bili Jasna Ristić, profesor elektrogrupe predmeta u ETŠ „Nikola Tesla”, Aleksandra Prokopijević, profesor srpskog jezika i književnosti i zamenik direktora na ITHS-u i Andrijana Vasić, profesor elektrogrupe predmeta, ITHS.
Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje u saradnji sa Resursnim centrom „Znanje” iz Beograda organizovao je za sve zaposlene u obrazovanju akreditovani seminar pod nazivom „Darovita deca i učenici u inkluzivnom obrazovanju”.
Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je u četvrtak, 28. februara 2019, šesto po redu predavanje iz ciklusa predstavljanja primera dobre prakse – „Kako da zavolim ponedeljak?” – pod nazivom „Nauka u parku, park u nauci, pitanje je sad?”. Predavač je bila mr Tatjana Marković Topalović, profesor fizike u srednjoj Medicinskoj školi „Dr Andra Jovanović”, koautor Parka nauke u Šapcu, inače prvog trodimenzionalnog udžbenika u Srbiji i jugoistočnoj Evropi, i jedna od tri kandidata iz Srbije za prestižnu svetsku nagradu za najboljeg nastavnika na svetu za 2018. godinu – „Global Teacher Prize 2018” Varkey fondacije iz Londona.
Centar za obrazovnu tehnologiju Instituta za moderno obrazovanje je 21. februara 2019. organizovao za nastavnike Srednje škole za informacione tehnologije, Beograd obuku za rad sa obrazovnim IT aplikacijama pod nazivom „Google Classroom”. Predavač je bio MSc Saša Ivakić, profesor računarstva i informatike u Savremenoj gimnaziji i koordinator Centra za obrazovnu tehnologiju Instituta za moderno obrazovanje.
U četvrtak, 21. februara 2019, Centar za stručno usavršavanje pri Institutu za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je predavanje za nastavnike International School Savremene pod nazivom „Teaching as a public speech”. Predavač je bila dr Gordana Bekčić Pješčić, stručnjak u oblasti američkih studija, rodnih studija i studija kulture. Trenutno radi kao samostalni konsultant za odnose s javnošću i komunikaciju.
Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje, u saradnji sa Savremenom gimnazijom, organizovao je za nastavnike Savremene gimnazije akreditovani seminar pod nazivom „Umeće komunikacije – kako da govorimo i slušamo da bi učenici želeli da nas čuju i da razgovaraju sa nama – I deo”, koji se održao od 5. do 7. februara 2019. godine.
Centar za stručno usavršavanje i Centar za obrazovnu tehnologiju pri Institutu za moderno obrazovanje organizovali su 23. januara 2019. stručni skup za unapređenje obrazovnog procesa pod nazivom „Budućnost počinje u učionici!”. Skup je bio namenjen svima zaposlenima u obrazovanju koji u svom radu koriste najsavremenije informaciono-komunikacione tehnologije.
Centar za stručno usavršavanje Instituta za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je u sredu, 16. januara 2019, četvrtu po redu tribinu iz ciklusa pod nazivom „Usred srede sa problemom”, na temu „Moć celovite biljne ishrane.” Predavači na tribini bili su Jovana Mašić, doktor medicine i Matija Bilješković, roditelj učenice iz International School Savremene, koji poseduje sertifikat o biljnoj ishrani Univerziteta Kornel, T. Kolin Kembel CSI (Itaka, Njujork, SAD).
U petak, 11. januara 2019, Centar za stručno usavršavanje pri Institutu za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je predavanje za unapređenje obrazovnog procesa pod nazivom „Šta očekujemo od inkluzivnog obrazovanja?”. Predavač je bila Marinela Šćepanović, master defektolog, doktorand specijalne edukacije i rehabilitacije, nastavnik individualne nastave, pedagoški savetnik, predsednik Društva defektologa Vojvodine i član Mense Srbije.
Centar za razvoj karijere Instituta za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je u sredu, 12. decembra 2018, treću po redu tribinu iz ciklusa pod nazivom „Usred srede sa problemom”, na temu „Budimo pametni, hranimo se zdravo”. Tribina je održana sa ciljem da se razvije svest o pojmu zdrave ishrane i odnosu hrane i fiziološkog funkcionisanja organizma.
U ponedeljak, 10. decembra 2018, odražana je konferencija pod nazivom „Obrazovanje za 4.0 revoluciju”, namenjena srednjoškolcima, njihovim roditeljima, ali i svim profesorima srednjih škola. Organizatori konferencije su bili Organizacija za razvoj karijere i omladinsko preduzetništvo „Connecting”, Centar za razvoj karijere Instituta za moderno obrazovanje i Agencija za studije i stipendije u inostranstvu „Via Academica”.
Tokom novembra i decembra 2018, Centar za obrazovnu tehnologiju Instituta za moderno obrazovanje organizovao je po tri obuke za rad sa obrazovnim IT aplikacijama namenjenim svima zaposlenima u oblasti obrazovanja.

Nastavnici i učitelji osnovne škole „Banović Strahinja” iz Beograda prisustvovali su 23. 4. 2018. promociji učionice budućnosti i bili oduševljeni mogućnostima koje nude informaciono-komunikacione tehnologije u učionici.
Uspešno je održana još jedna prezentacija pametne učionice u Institutu za moderno obrazovanje.
Kako primeniti projektno orijentisanu nastavu u praksi pokazao je prof. dr Ivan Anić na seminaru održanom 30. marta 2018. godine u Institutu za moderno obrazovanje. Nastavnici su se upoznali s tim kako u savremenom dobu motivisati učenike i učiniti im nastavu matematike zanimljivom.
Nastavnici i učitelji osnovne škole „Karađorđe” iz Beograda su bili oduševljeni mogućnostima koje nude informaciono komunikacione tehnologije u učionici kao i novim obrazovnim aplikacijama koje Savremena gimnazija već uveliko koristi u nastavi.
U prostorijama ITHS-a, u petak, 23. marta, održan je seminar Primenjena komunikologija u nastavi. Ovaj seminar održala je dr Biljana Ćirić u sklopu interne obuke za nastavnike koju sprovodi Institut za moderno obrazovanje.
U svečanoj sali Skupštine grada, 20. marta, u 18 časova, održana je tribina „Vršnjačko nasilje”. Prisutni su bili brojni zaposleni u obrazovanju, roditelji i mladi ljudi zainteresovani za ovu temu.
Institut za moderno obrazovanje je 12. marta otvorio svoja vrata za sve zainteresovane posetioce iz prosvetnog sveta koji žele da upoznaju i vide pametnu učionicu, učionicu budućnosti. Današnje generacije učenika odrastaju uz digitalne tehnologije i svakodnevno ih koriste, ali se u znatnom broju škola susreću sa tradicionalnim modelom prenošenja znanja i učionicama bez interneta, računara i mobilnih uređaja. Učionice treba da budu opremljene tako da odgovaraju potrebama učenika 21. veka.
U okviru zimskih radionica u Institutu za moderno obrazovanje, održani su seminari Projektno orijentisana nastava matematike i Retorika i nastava: kako biti uspešan predavač.
Institut za moderno obrazovanje održao je seminar Google Classroom u OŠ „Jožef Atila” u Kupusini (Apatin). Polaznici seminara su imali priliku da nauče kako da koriste Google-ove aplikacije za obrazovanje i kako da uz pomoć ovih aplikacija olakšaju i ulepšaju svoj rad.
U utorak, 26. decembra, u Naučno-tehnološkom parku održana je manifestacija Business Quality Academy, na kojoj je učestvovao i Institut za moderno obrazovanje. Studenti FON-a, Pravnog, Elektrotehničkog i drugih fakulteta upoznali su se sa mladim inovatorima i čuli priče uspešnih ljudi iz sveta biznisa.
U Institutu za moderno obrazovanje je 22. decembra održana tribina za direktore obrazovnih ustanova, pod nazivom „Savremeni tokovi stručnog usavršavanja”.
